BKF is focused on conducting screening for first stage critical kidney disease in schools.
BKF started a prevention program for Government high schools & private schools in and around Bangalore. A simple urine strip test indicates whether the student has to be investigated for longitudinal follow up.
This program was started in November 2016 and till date the prevention program has reached 23 schools and covered 6200 student. It is our endeavour to cover over 10000 students during 2019.
