Why Dialysis

Why Dialysis

About two million people have critical kidney disease and require either dialysis or a kidney transplant. Due to lack of access to dialysis and due to economic reasons, only 10-12% undergo dialysis. The urban poor have access but are unable to undergo regular dialysis for economic conditions. BKF ensures regular dialysis by a combination of affordable charge/free/subsidised dialysis. Beyond dialysis, BKF ensures nutrition, medication, diagnostic tests to patients. In the absence of a kidney transplant, regular dialysis is an alternative to enable the patient to lead a useful life.
