A patient on dialysis needs treatment two to three times a week, for life. Most of the people we care for earn daily wages and simply cannot pay. Your gift decides whether they keep coming back.

Questions Donors Ask

How much of my donation reaches patients?

Over 95%. Our administrative costs are kept under 5% of donor money, and are covered by income from our corpus and endowment funds, corporate partners and skilled volunteers.

Will a small donation make a difference?

Yes. Individual donors provide 70 to 75% of BKF's income. Small gifts, added together, fund most of our work.

When will I receive my receipt and 80G certificate?

Online donations are receipted by email once the payment is confirmed. For bank transfers and cheques, email your transfer details to accounts@bkfindia.in and we'll send your receipt and certificate.

Does BKF receive government funding?

No. As an NGO we receive no direct government funding, which keeps us independent. We do benefit from certain tax and duty exemptions.

Can I donate from outside India?

Yes. BKF is registered under FCRA (Reg. No. 094420181). Please email accounts@bkfindia.in before donating so we can share our FCRA account details.
