Bangalore Kidney Foundation (BKF) supports comprehensive renal care for patients who come from vulnerable backgrounds and depend on daily wages for survival. Since our inception in 1979, we have conducted over 3 lakh sessions of subsidized dialysis, and in turn, have impacted 17,000+ individuals over four decades; thereby pioneering the treatment of renal failure and kidney diseases in the state of Karnataka.
We are a voluntary organization that is funded entirely by the generosity of our donors. The unique feature of donations to BKF is that the funds are utilized entirely for the purpose intended by the donor. We firmly believe in our ethos of ‘Quality, Dignity and Ethics’ to serve those who brave kidney disease. Donations towards our cause can be made to support our various project and patient care activities. All donations are exempt under section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.
“BKF is my extended family and I truly believe that BKF is the source of my strength. This is the place where I share my joys and sorrows. The nursing staff and doctors take good care of me, and i am forever indebted to them.”
“BKF has given me a second lease on life. Recognising my aspirations and desire to contribute to the society as a productive citizen, the staff at BKF not only took care of my dialysis treatment, but motivated me to work harder and chase my dreams!”
