Our newest rural centre brings subsidised dialysis within reach of families who were previously travelling more than 100 km for each session. For a patient on thrice-weekly dialysis, that journey was often the difference between continuing treatment and abandoning it.

The centre was made possible by donors who fund equipment and running costs, allowing us to keep treatment free or heavily subsidised for patients who cannot pay.
