Bangalore Kidney Foundation was founded on 5 February 1979 and pioneered the treatment of renal failure and kidney disease in Karnataka. What began as a single centre has become the state’s nodal point for affordable renal care.
Dialysis costs between ₹24,000 and ₹30,000 a month. Most families cannot pay it, so they stop treatment. We exist to make sure they don’t have to.

Of affordable kidney care
A future where no one in India dies of kidney failure because they could not afford treatment.
To provide quality dialysis and kidney care at a cost every patient can meet, and to prevent kidney disease through early screening and awareness in the communities most at risk, alongside the hospitals and partners across Karnataka who share this belief.
BKF keeps patients on regular dialysis through a mix of affordable, subsidised and free sessions. Beyond dialysis, we provide nutrition, medication and diagnostic tests. Without a kidney transplant, regular dialysis is what lets a patient go on living a useful life.
