The 10th Dhwani-BKF Pt.Mallikarjun Mansur Hidustani Music Festival was held on 21st and 22nd September 2013 at the JSS Auditorium, Bangalore. Being the 10th year, the Festival showcased three top artistes from the field of Hindustani classical music.
On 21st September 2013, the festival began with a vocal concert by Smt.Shubha Mudgal. The second day, 22nd September 2013 (Sunday) Smt.Ashwini Bhide Deshpande enthralled music lovers with morning ragas. The concert began at 8 am. During a brief interval, Smt.Ashwini Bhide was awarded that year’s Pt.Mallikarjun Mansur Award. Her concert continued after the Award function.
The same evening Pt.Vishwamohan Bhatt performed from 6 PM to 9 PM on his Mohan Veena.
